Based on the hugely popular and widely shared New York Times article on this subject, THE 10 THINGS YOU NEED TO EAT AND 100 WAYS TO PREPARE THEM is sure to appeal to foodies, health nuts, novice cooks, and people who simply enjoy healthy living.
Schoolhouse Farms and The Borodino Market could not have embraced a publication that is more in keeping with our personal lifestyle and the focus of our project. We either grow or sell most of these items and purchase the remainder. Our climate just isn't capable of producing avocados or some of the nut varieties we enjoy. However the remainder we can and if we are not currently growing or selling items we will be by our next season in 2010! The store does stock Quinoa (one our ancient grains). The Borodino Market in conjunction with Schoolhouse Farms near Skaneateles will continue to vet the products we can't produce and make them available at the store or on line from the Borodino Market! Keep on living to eat and eating right! Enjoy all the goodness of what good foods have to offer!
